The Figawi Sailboat Race is a popular event that takes place on Memorial Day weekend each year. The boats sail from Hyannis Harbor to Nantucket Island (Saturday morning) for this Cape Cod tradition, which began in 1972. The race is followed the next evening by a cocktail party and clambake, before the return race on Memorial Day.
